Social campaign “Zero proMILA” organised by the Polish Vodka Association is starting
The campaign organised under the slogan "Zero proMILA" (Zero Promille) is aimed at making drivers aware of the dangers related with driving after the consumption of alcohol. We want to tell them: never sit behind the steering wheel after you have drunk alcohol as the safety on roads and the lives of others depend on you!
The campaign was started in December 2007 in the streets of Warsaw. This year PVA and its Partners continue the campaign in which between 8th December and 14th December 7 000 breathalyzers and educational and informative materials will be distributed all around the Świętokrzyskie province.
An important instrument we use are consultation points located in frequently visited places in Kielce. Furthermore, other instruments used will be banners with meaningful graphics while the campaign slogan “Zero proMILA” (Zero Promille) will be presented all around Kielce and on other educational materials: leaflets, posters, films, stickers etc. During the final of the campaign in Kielce on
13 - 14.12 will be organised performance tests in vehicles on the manoeuvre area in the so-called alco-goggles, i.e. glasses which simulate the state of intoxication. Actions popularising sobriety will also be promoted thanks to active cooperation with local media by initiating articles and interviews promoting sobriety behind the steering wheel. For the purpose of the campaign was launched the website www.zeroproMILA.pl. The press conference for the inauguration of the campaign is to be held on 8.12 in Leśny Dwór in Kielce while the sum-up conference is to be held on 13.12 in the same place.
